September 5, 2023: I Have To Be Creative
When I was younger, I loved to draw. Mostly what I would draw was little comic strips, like what you see in newspapers. Every now and then, since I loved to read comic books, I'd make up my own comics. Whenever I got bored sitting in class, I'd sit there and draw.
Then one day in 1989, it died. The desire to draw was no longer there, and I didn't draw anything for over 20 years!
Then one day a few years ago, the desire returned. Suddenly I was drawing again, and drawing comic strips at that. (See some of my past posts for a few examples) Not only was I drawing again, but I had discovered a few websites which take drawing and creativity to another level. One of these websites was called Pixton (Link: https://app.pixton.com/#/)- This website allowed to me to create storyboards or plain comic strips digitally, without using a pencil. I love this website! It's fun and enjoyable- plus I get to be creative!
In 2016, I was able to realize my dream of writing a book and having it published (Lobos, Blue Devils, and Mustangs in case you didn't know), and now I'm looking at having some of my art (drawn or digitally created) published as well someday. I will be using this blog to display some of my "creations", comic strips mostly, just for your viewing pleasure.
Here is a small sample:
