In
2016, I wrote a book titled, Lobos,
Blue Devils, and Mustangs- A Nonfictional Fiction. Now, almost ten
years later, I've updated the original and renamed it, Lobos, Blue Devils, and Mustangs Redux - The MisAdventures of Ced
E.! Book One. I decided to make all the books I’ve written into a kind
of anthology so to speak, and when it’s all said and done, there will be The
MisAdventures of Ced E.! Books One, Two, Three, and finally Four.
This
book re-tells the story told in the original book, as well as containing six
new added chapters. These added chapters will have a .5 added to the chapter
number (for example, 1.5), so that you’ll know these are the new, fresh
chapters.
Also,
The original book, The MisAdventures
of Ced E.! was kinda long, so I divided the book in half, and made two
books: The MisAdventures of Ced E.!
Book Two and The
MisAdventures of Ced E.! Book Three.
The
MisAdventures of Ced E.! series follows our hero, Ced E.,
through his high school years to his high school graduation, and through four
years of college at SFASU and Kilgore Jr. College. Taking place in the late
1980’s, when there were no cellphones, no DVDs, and no internet or websites,
the college life was totally different from what it’s like today. But when
you’re leaving your home and being on your own for the very first time, no matter
what the time period is, every day is an adventure, or “MisAdventure” within
itself. Ced E.’s path to manhood was VERY interesting, to say the VERY least, a
psychological and winding path down the road to hopefully success...a road
which encountered a lot of surprises along the way. Will Ced E. reach his goal
of graduating (in his right mind) with his degree or will he stumble off the
road in failure and misery? Only time will tell!
